Prior to engaging in real estate, I have worked as manager for a large retail chain and also as a marketing director for a Seattle-based business.

My varying background, as a result, has provided me with the necessary skills for negotiating, problem solving and promotion to best represent both buyer and seller clients.

Furthermore, years of valuable experience together with aggressive and effective marketing plan combined with today’s necessary understating of Internet technology have proven to be my greatest assets.

We really appreciated several extra things that Steve did which exceeded our expectations.

Most consumers would agree that when looking for someone to list and sell their home, a REALTOR who is creative with marketing would give that Seller an edge in the marketplace. As a Buyer, especially now that we are seeing multiple offers again in some neighborhoods, you need a REALTOR who can confidently and creatively represent you in competitive offer situations. You need a REALTOR who can tell your story, build emotion and trust which compels the Seller to accept your offer. You need a REALTOR who can think outside of tradition and get you the home you want!


Early on I made a commitment to education. The additional certifications that I’ve earned greatly benefit my clients. I have a strong interest in conflict resolution. As you can imagine I deal with conflict often, since most buyers and sellers to not always agree. This led me to achieve my Certified Negotiation Expert and Real Estate Divorce Specialist certifications. Part of my job is to minimize the stress of the transaction for my clients. I take pride in working through problems, building consensus amongst the parties, resolving conflict, and keeping everyone focused on the end goal.
I’m very proud of my CRS designation. This is one of the toughest and most time consuming, and definitely the most education intense designations to earn. Because of the transaction volume requirements and the class requirements fewer than 4% of REALTORS nationwide earn this designation.


My husband and I just celebrated our 17th anniversary this year. Our home life also includes Farley a 25 year old parrot we adopted in 2007, seven pet pigeons, a dove and of course our two indoor cats Isabella and Abby. And YES, the cats get along fine with the birds! The pigeons have all been hand-raised by us, so they are very friendly and full of individual personality. I am also an avid photographer and love taking pictures of them. I incorporate my passions for Real Estate, Photography and the Birds in all of my marketing material. Each month I have an interesting shot of one of the birds, plus timely real estate news.
