Each day I receive a report from my local MLS that provides data for home sales in the Seattle area. This daily report has recently revealed a lack of inventory in our market place. As the graph below shows below, yesterday’s pending home sales have out pacing new listings five to one.

This trend is not exclusive to yesterday, I have noticed this trend over the last several weeks as the shortage of homes for sale and the abundant amount of buyers seeking a new home. As I have stated recently, if you are considering selling, now is the time. There is a pent up demand for homes and very little inventory.
